Released on the internet in instalments through April to August 2004, now available for the first time bound in one volume. Imagine twenty fighter jets racing around twisting, turning aerial track, ducking and weaving and overtaking at insanely high speeds, and you've just imagined a hover car race. In the world of the near future, man travels everywhere in vehicles that hover four feet above the ground. But this brilliant new technology has inspired a super-fast, ultracompetitive sport the likes of which the world has never seen: hover car racing. It's both dangerous and glamorous, where racers are part fighter-pilot, part race-car driver, all superstar. It is the hottest ticket in town. This is the story of Jason Chaser, a talented young racer who is selected to attend the famed International Race School, the brutal gateway to the Professional Circuit. There he will race against the best young racers on the planet -- on some of the wildest circuits you can imagine -- all of them wanting one thing: to graduate from the Race School and get a contract to race in the big time, the International Pro Circuit. Buckle up and hold on tight, because you're about to take off on the fastest reading experience of your life!

Matthew Reilly is the international bestselling author of ten novels: Contest, Ice Station, Temple, Area 7, Scarecrow, Hover Car Racer, Seven Ancient Wonders, The Six Sacred Stones, The Five Greatest Warriors and Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves, and one novella, Hell Island.
