Rose Gregory has enjoyed reading, writing and performing from a young age. She has contributed to radio, magazines for children and reading development material for schools. Retirement from a busy teaching career has allowed her to devote more time to writing and she has had great fun creating the world of gnomes. Rose lives in a peaceful, leafy suburb of Christchurch with her husband. They have one grown son.
