AUTHORS: David L. Holmes retired in 2013 as the Walter G. Mason Professor of Religious Studies at William & Mary after 48 years. He has maintained a broad range of contacts with former students, outstanding alumni, coworkers, and others in his field. He has spoken to many diverse groups. He and his editor live in Williamsburg, near the campus of William & Mary. Holding degrees from the University of Kentucky and the University of California, Davis, Susan Williamson is a former newspaper editor, college adjunct, and extension agent.
