David lives in Tairua on the east coast of New Zealand's Coromandel peninsula. He was born in Yorkshire, England; attended high school in Cape Town for five years and is a graduate of Auckland University. He has lived and worked in Brazil, Greece, France and Saudi Arabia as well as in New Zealand. This is his first novel.
