I accidentally stumbled upon writing poetry when I was 11 years old. Back then it was just an outlet for my pre-pubescent angst. Now nine years on, three publications, a university degree, adulthood and several years of mellowing later, I couldn't imagine my life without my writing. This is my fourth, and my proudest collection, of Words for Tea, Bounty and Walking on Eggshells. It's a collection that spans the most recent era of my life. Perhaps that's why I take so much pride in it. Each poem helps to represent and express the most relevant version of myself.
