Lisa J. Amstutz is the author of more than fifty books for children. She specializes in topics related to science, nature, and agriculture. Lisa' s work has also appeared in a variety of magazines and newspapers. Her background includes a BA in biology and an MS in environmental science. Lisa lives with her family on a hobby farm in rural Ohio. Talitha Shipman graduated with an MFA in illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008. She' s illustrated three books since then. Talitha lives in Indiana with her husband, daughter, and a very hairy dog named Lucy.
